Rubber Tyred Container Gantry Crane (RTG)

Container gantry cranes are mainly used for container loading, unloading, handling and stacking of container railway transfer yards and large container storage yards.

The container gantry crane is composed of main beam, rigid and flexible door legs, running trolley, lifting mechanism, trolley running mechanism (rubber tyred or rail mounted type), electrical system, operating cab and so on. According to the yard operation process, the cantilever extending in the direction of single-door or double-door legs becomes a single-cantilever or double-cantilever model, and it does not extend to a non-cantilever model. According to the site, the process of container storage and transportation, and the loading and unloading vehicles (container trucks or railway vehicles), different structure forms without cantilever, single cantilever and double cantilever are adopted.
